ByOwner24-7.net have representatives who live in your area. They will deliver your yard sign and answer any questions you have about our FSBO service. Q. I am ready to sign up now. What do I need to do to get started?
A. We offer three ways to list your property on www.ByOwner24-7.net:
  1. Our preferred method is for you to fill out our online forms and pay for our services by credit card. Your credit card will be approved and your listing will be activated immediately. Recommended
  2. You may choose to fill out our online forms and pay by personal check or money order, made out to “Real Estate Consortium, LLC”. We will activate your account upon receiving your check. On signup you will be given an option to mail us your payment.
  3. The last method is to download and print our listing forms. Mail complete forms along with your check or money order and pictures and we will upload to your listing.

Q. How long does it take for me to receive my services?
A. If you choose to pay by credit card your listing will be available immediately. We will install and deliver signage within 3 – 5 business days. If you choose to use a check or mail us your listing, we will usually list the property within 24 hours if receiving it. We will install and deliver signage within 5 business days thereafter.

Q. Are the signs that you provide mine to keep?
A. No, you are renting our signs, not buying them. By reusing the signs more than once we are able to keep our listing fee as low as possible.

Q. Do you provide real estate forms?
A. Yes, you can access them by clicking on Real Estate Forms. We have done this as a convenience, and we do not offer any legal, financial, or tax advise.

Q. How long will my listing remain active?
A. Your listing will remain active for 6 months. It can be renewed at no additional cost upon agreement between us for like period if necessary. If your property is sold, taken of the market, or listed with a realtor the listing will terminate.

Q. Can I simultaneously list my property on MLS with a realtor?
A. No, if you decide to list with a realtor please notify us immediately. Our property sellers agree to keep their properties off the MLS while listed here. This guarantees that you won’t pay an inflated price to compensate for agent commissions. Send an email to info@ByOwner24-7.net and we will come pick up your signs. You may advertise in any other medium you wish while your property is listed with us.

Q. Can I make changes to my listing after it has posted?
A. Yes!! You can make any changes you like by logging in to your account at any time. You can change descriptions, change the photos you have uploaded or advertise upcoming open houses. You are in control of your listing, all changes are real time and will appear immediately.

Q. How can I get the best mortgage?
A. We are fortunate to be affiliated with and have several links to www.americasfirsthomemortgage.net. There you can apply online to get pre-qualified. They do business with CitiMortgage, Countrywide, Chase, Wells Fargo, Wachovia, B.B.&T., SunTrust, National City Mortgage, U.S. Bank, and M & T Bank, just to name a few. If they can’t get you a mortgage they will let you know what needs to be done to get you qualified.

Q. How do I know that I can trust information that the home owner is providing?
A. A. By law there are certain disclosures that must be made to you. Your attorney can counsel you on this. You should also have the home inspected by a licensed home inspector. (See our Real Estate Service Directory). The good news about buying a FSBO home is that you are dealing with the person who knows the home best and not with someone who may filter the information or not know the property well enough to answer your questions completely. The bottom line is that there is no guarantee but by buying a FSBO home you have a better opportunity to get your questions answered first hand.

Q. What makes you different from real estate agents?
A. First of all, we are NOT real estate agents, nor will we be a referral resource for them. We are homeowners that believe that regular people like us can buy or sell our homes without having to pay someone 6 or 7 percent for essentially what we can do for ourselves. ByOwner24-7.net will remain a strictly For Sale By Owner venue. Homes subsequently listed with real estate agents will be removed from the site.
